Established Preschool and Day Care is accepting applications for a 2/3 year old class Lead Teacher. This position is 30+ hours a week. Qualified candidates will have a love for children, be energetic, self-directed, professional, well-spoken and a team player.

Qualifications:

Applicant must be able to meet the requirements outlined by Maryland State Department of Education.

- 1 +year experience working in a licensed daycare center

- A minimum of 90 hours preschool certification

- pass local and FBI background checks and maintain the required clock hours of continued training.

- Childcare Credential a plus!

-excellent verbal and written communication skills

Applicant must obtain the following upon the first month of hire

- 9 Hours Communication Course

- ADA Course

- CPR/ First Aid

Responsibilites include:

Instruct preschool aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth

Create a fun, interactive, and safe learning environment

Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care

Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents

Communicate and build relationships with parents

Promote achievement for the students and support growth and progress

Maintain the health and safety of all students
