Game X Change, a leading retailer of video games, electronics, and pop culture merchandise, is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement strategies and inventory sourcing across multiple store locations. This key leadership role is responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, managing vendor relationships, and driving purchasing efficiency to support the company’s growth and customer satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all purchasing activities for video games, consoles, electronics, and entertainment merchandise.

Source inventory from a wide network of distributors, wholesalers, and trade-in programs.

Monitor inventory levels, sales trends, and customer demand to ensure efficient stock rotation.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines with vendors to maximize margin and value.

Collaborate with store managers and regional leads to align inventory needs with local trends.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of gaming industry releases, market values, and collector trends.

Oversee inventory management systems and purchasing data to forecast needs and prevent overstock.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and budget guidelines.

Qualifications:

3+ years of purchasing, inventory, or supply chain experience in retail, electronics, or entertainment.

Strong understanding of the video game market (retro to modern), consumer electronics, and trade value.

Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and organizational skills.

Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).

Passion for gaming and pop culture is a strong advantage.
