Dough Craft Pizza & Pastrami on Route 1 in Portsmouth, NH needs to find an energetic and passionate Chef/Cook. We’re a casual, family-friendly restaurant with a full bar and seating for about 100 guests. Our menu features fresh-made pizzas, hot steamed pastrami sandwiches, crisp salads, golden French fries, tasty chicken tenders, and hearty pasta dishes. We take pride in serving great food in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team. You should be comfortable handling a variety of tasks, able to stay cool under pressure, and ready to work solo or as part of a team—depending on the shift.
What You’ll Do:
• Prepare and cook food from our menu with consistency and care
• Keep up with multiple orders during busy times without sacrificing quality
• Use kitchen equipment safely (pizza oven, fryer, steamer, etc.)
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and up to health code standards
• Help with prep, restocking, and closing duties as needed
• Communicate with the front-of-house team to keep service running smoothly
• Take initiative and work independently when needed
What You’ll Need:
• Previous kitchen experience (especially with pizza or casual dining) is a big plus
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and possibly some holidays
• A positive attitude and good communication skills
• Must be reliable and punctual
