Heavy Equipment Operator/Foreman 

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Supervisor to oversee construction projects and ensure they are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction management and possess strong leadership abilities. Experienced in Waterlines, Sewer lines, Site work, Foundation Prep, Commercial Projects & Plans 

Duties
* Manage and supervise construction crews on-site
* Responsible for equipment; greasing, functions, oversee maintenance, cleaning 

* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
* Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe work environment
* Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project timelines are met
* Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to monitor progress and quality of work

NORTHERN HOME & EXCAVATION specializing:

• Site Work: Foundation Excavation, Stumping, Land clearing, Grading Drainage
• Underground utility work: Waterlines, Sewer lines, Gas lines & tanks, Septic systems
• Driveway grading, Culverts, Extensions & repairs (no asphalt work)
• Demolition work & Hammering Ledge

Requirements

•  Proven experience as a Supervisor in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols on construction sites
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
