As a Package/Mail Screener at our child care agency, you will be the first line of defense in maintaining facility security by thoroughly inspecting all incoming mail and packages. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help protect our staff and the children in our care.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and screen all incoming mail, packages, and deliveries for suspicious or prohibited items.
• Operate and maintain screening equipment (e.g., X-ray scanners, metal detectors) as needed.
• Document and log all screened packages, noting any irregularities or concerns.
• Coordinate with security personnel or management to handle suspicious items appropriately.
• Provide professional and courteous service to delivery personnel and staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain vigilant in identifying potential threats or suspicious items.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
