Job&Talent is looking for medical device assemblers and Quality Inspectors in a (clean room) production role. Individuals will be responsible for carefully assembling vascular catheters components according to detailed instructions, utilizing microscopes, hand tools and specialized equipment, while adhering to strict quality standards to ensure the proper functionality and safety of the finished medical device. This often involves following detailed work orders, performing quality checks throughout the assembly process, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace within a controlled manufacturing environment.

Job Summary:

  • Employment Type: Full-Time - Temp to Perm
  • Location: Irvine, CA
  • Salary: $18-$23 per hour (Depending on experience and shift)

Shift available:

  • 1st shift (5:30a.m. to 1:30p.m.) Monday - Friday
  • 2nd shift (3:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.) Monday - Friday
  • + OVERTIME

Responsibilities:

  • Component assembly: Carefully assembling individual parts and subassemblies of medical devices by following established procedures and blueprints.
  • Quality control: Performing thorough inspections on components and finished products to identify any defects or non-conformances, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Work order adherence: Following detailed work orders and assembly instructions to accurately build devices according to specifications.
  • Tool usage: Utilizing hand tools, specialized equipment, and assembly fixtures to properly assemble components.
  • Documentation: Completing necessary documentation including assembly logs, quality control reports, and batch records.
  • Cleanroom practices: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace within a controlled environment, adhering to strict cleanliness protocols.
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and reporting any assembly issues or discrepancies to supervisors for prompt resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail: High level of precision and accuracy when handling small components.
  • Hand-eye coordination: Ability to manipulate tools and parts with dexterity.
  • Mechanical aptitude: Basic understanding of mechanical principles and assembly techniques.
  • Quality focus: Commitment to maintaining high quality standards and identifying defects.
  • Following instructions: Ability to carefully follow detailed work instructions and procedures.
  • Basic computer skills: Familiarity with basic computer systems for data entry and quality documentation.
