Position Overview:

Gen Next Home Care provides a helping hand from companionship to personal care. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Respite Care for family 
• Wake up and tuck in assistance
• Personal care: Bathing/Hygiene
• Incontinence Care/Toileting
• Medication reminders 
• Meal planning, prepping and clean up 
• Exercise routine reminders 
• Daily chore list 
• Documentation
• Companionship & Conversation
• Transfers & assist with mobility 
• Assist with pet care (dog walking, litter box)
• Transportation (appointments, errands, and outings in the community)

Qualifications:

• Caregiver experience, CNA, having worked with individuals with disabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Coachable and eager to learn
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus but not required.

Schedules:

• Day shifts
• Evening Shifts
• On Call shifts

• 3 to 6 hour shifts
• 12 hour shifts
