Overview:- We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their well-being.

Duties:- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism - Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks - Aid in meal preparation and feeding as needed - Support clients in engaging in recreational activities - Administer first aid when necessary - Drive clients to appointments or outings - Offer companionship and emotional support - Assist with dementia care for elderly clients - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for clients  Experience/Required Skills: - Experience in long-term care or home care settings - Working knowledge of supporting individuals with autism and developmental disabilities - Proficiency in direct support practices - Ability to provide first aid when needed. Reliable transportation and Driver's license. CPR/ First Aide (training avail.). TB Screening or test. High School Diploma. No Barrier Crimes

 Nice-to-Have Skills: - Experience in meal preparation for special dietary needs - Familiarity with dementia care protocols - Previous work in DSP or similar environment recommended. Training upon hire!

pay starts at $16.50. hourly, paid bi-weekly
