We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant "casual" Security Guard to join our team. We will roughly be able to provide a maximum of 30 hours per week. Schedule is based on pop up jobs or open available shifts. Would be best suited for someone with a flexible schedule.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Duties included but not limited to:

• Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all individuals on-site.
• Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify security risks or breaches.
• Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain knowledge of CPR protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences in detailed reports.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by monitoring for theft or suspicious behavior.

Experience

• Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment and security systems is an advantage.
• Skills in conflict management are essential for effectively handling disputes.

• Must pass a criminal background check upon hire
• Must pass a standardized drug screening upon hire
