This is a hands-on role where you‘ll get wet, covered in fur, and occasionally deal with less-than-glamorous tasks (yes, that includes anal gland expressions). It’s perfect for someone who truly loves animals and is willing to put in the effort to help them look and feel their best.

Responsibilities:

• Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs of all sizes and temperaments

•Cleaning ears, trimming nails, and expressing anal glands as needed

• Woking fast but efficien. Managing time well.
• Keeping the bathing and grooming area clean and sanitized

•Assisting groomers with handling dogs during grooming sessions

• Observing pets for signs of stress or health issues and reporting concerns
• Managing time efficiently to keep the grooming schedule on track

What We’re Looking For:

• A genuine love for animals and patience for dogs who may be nervous or scared
• Willingness to get dirty- expect water, fur, and some messes
• Ability to lift and handle dogs of various sizes safely
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and the ability to take direction
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Not suitable for individuals with pet allergies

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Previous experience in a grooming salon or animal care setting
• Knowledge of dog breeds and coat types
• Basic grooming or bathing skills
