Practice Philosophy

           Dr. Gary D. Norsworthy is the owner and Chief of Staff. He is an ABVP board certified feline specialist, is the editor of seven feline textbooks, and has lectured on feline topics extensively throughout the US, Canada, Australia, Mexico, and Brazil. He has published over 50 papers in the veterinary literature.

            We strive to be a full-service facility including the ability to perform most surgical procedures.

            About 15% of our patient load consists of referral cases that come from most of South Texas.

Mentoring

            Dr. Norsworthy prefers to hire new graduates. He spends three months working with the new graduate in his aggressive mentoring program. His goal is to make the new graduate comfortably functional within those three months. His mentoring program is in the top teer of mentoring program in the country.
