Location: Houston, Texas 

Requirements:

Zillan Clinical Research is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Psychologist to join our team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will provide psychological assessments, therapy, and intervention services to a diverse client population. This role involves working with individuals, families, and groups to address various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Clinical research experience is optional but is considered an added bonus.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Stay up to date with best practices, emerging research, and advancements in the field of psychology.
  • Offer crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions and coping strategies.
  • Participate in clinical research projects if interested and qualified.
  • Assist in designing and implementing psychological assessments for clinical trial participants.
  • Monitor and document the mental health status of clinical trial participants throughout the study.
  • Provide psychological support and interventions to participants experiencing distress due to trial procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and regulatory standards in clinical trials.
  • Collaborate with research teams to interpret psychological data and contribute to study outcomes

 

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid Texas State License as a Psychologist.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical or counseling psychology (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of psychological theories, therapeutic techniques, and diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
  • Clinical research experience is a plus but not required.
