Through direct services, advocacy, and support networks, we provide comprehensive care management to help fathers stabilize their lives and achieve self-sufficiency.
Position Overview
The Client Care Manager is a key leadership role responsible for providing holistic, client-centered case management to fathers facing housing instability, reentry challenges, and other socio-economic barriers. This position combines direct social work support, community engagement, and administrative oversight to ensure effective service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social services, case management, advocacy, and nonprofit administration.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Work & Case Management
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide direct case management, connecting clients to essential services such as housing, employment, mental health support, and financial literacy programs.
- Advocate for fathers navigating public assistance programs, legal aid, and other social services.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to monitor client progress and adjust support plans as needed.
- Facilitate crisis intervention, mediation, and conflict resolution when necessary.
- Maintain confidential client records and ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.
Community Engagement & Support Services
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, and service providers to enhance client support networks.
- Organize and lead workshops on parenting skills, financial planning, and mental health awareness.
- Advocate for policy changes and systemic improvements that support fathers and families.
- Conduct outreach efforts to engage fathers in need, including visits to shelters, reentry programs, and community centers.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Manage scheduling, correspondence, and communications for the Executive Director.
- Assist with program tracking, reporting, grant documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain organized records and databases to support program evaluation.
- Organize meetings, take minutes, and coordinate logistics for events and training sessions.
Financial & HR Support
- Track client-related expenses and process invoices for approval.
- Support payroll processing and employee documentation as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with social media, outreach, and marketing efforts to increase awareness of programs and services.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and operations of Fathers To Founders.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience in case management, community advocacy, or nonprofit administration will be considered.
- 2+ years of experience in social services, case management, or a similar role, preferably working with justice-involved individuals, unhoused populations, or low-income families.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and culturally responsive service delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and case management software.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, community-driven environment.
- Passion for social justice, fatherhood empowerment, and systemic change.

Compensation
- Salary: $22.00 per hour (Full-Time), based on payroll taxes and employment-related costs. This Position is subject to raise in 90 days.
