Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Representative Sales Associate who also will enjoy being a Daycare/Doggie Preschool Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care for animals in a nurturing environment. This candidate will also work the sales floor, & assist trainers and groomers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare and the ability to engage with both pets and their owners effectively. This role requires a hands-on approach to animal care, ensuring that all animals are safe, happy, educated and well-cared for throughout their stay.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with animals in the daycare, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Assist in daily feeding, grooming, and exercise routines for pets.
• Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility, including cleaning kennels, outside areas and play areas.
• Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to the management team.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners regarding their pets' activities and needs.
• Support training activities as needed, including basic commands and socialization practices.
• Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving supplies or larger animals.
• Provide constructive exercise for each pet inside and outside.
• Following and Charting Daily Activities
• Engaging , checking out & Communicating with customers and clients on the sales floor regarding their pets, & the needs of both owner & pet
• Assisting in keeping store floor, daycare, grooming area, break room and outside areas clean
• Providing one-on-one guidance to every client & customer
• Assist trainers and groomers as needed
• Be able to work as a team. You must also be comfortable working on your own. Our business runs on teamwork. If you prefer to work alone, this job is not for you.

Experience
Candidates should possess experience or skills in one or more of the following areas:

• Ability to operate Apple products
• POS experience
• Sales experience
• Dog training or handling techniques
• Pet With Pet Interacrion
• Customer service experience within an animal care setting
• General animal handling skills, particularly with dogs and other pets

Please Note: You MUST be 18, willing to work any shift, and have reliable transportation. You can not be employed by Pups Path at the same time of being employed by any other pet retail, pet training, pet related business, or pet daycare/kennel.

Pay: From $10.70 per hour
