Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Keep Our Fleet Running Smoothly!

Paragon Landscape Construction is looking for a motivated and skilled Mechanic to join our team! In this role, you will maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment and vehicles to ensure our crews have safe and reliable equipment every day.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, and backhoes
• Diagnose and fix issues with fleet vehicles, including Mack trucks and company vehicles
• Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs
•  Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Assist with inventory management and scheduling maintenance
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Experience in heavy equipment and vehicle repair (2+ years preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Welding and small engine repair experience is a plus
