Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders, helping patients achieve effective communication skills to enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals.
• Provide therapy sessions to individuals, focusing on improving communication skills and functional abilities.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate families and caregivers on communication strategies and exercises to support patients’ progress.
• Stay updated on best practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.

Skills:

• Proficiency in various speech therapy techniques and practices.
• Experience with cognitive-communication strategies is desirable.
• Familiarity with assistive technology and augmentative communication devices.
• Empathy and patience when working with patients of all ages.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure and ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Previous experience in a clinical or educational setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
