We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our growing team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients. Currently contracted with 4 insurance companies to provide a strong client base.
Job Responsibilities
Provide individual and/or couples counseling to clients experiencing mental health challenges.
Conduct clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and professional ethical guidelines.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.
Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed.
Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling.
Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Pre-Licensed LMHC looking to fulfill Licensure Requirements
1 year of experience providing therapy/counseling services, but willing to accept the right recently licensed applicant.
Experience working with diverse populations and a variety of mental health conditions.
Strong understanding of therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based interventions.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred.
