Job Title: Massage Therapist

Location: 2001 N Rand rd. Unit E, Palatine, IL 60074

Terms: Part time, Full time or by appointment

Salary/Rate: $30-80/hr (Starting $30 base pay not including tip)

Requirements: Ability to work weekends are a must and/or later hours

Body in Gear Medical Massage Therapy has been providing the states of IL and AZ massage therapy since 2015 and help to aid in treatment of chronic pain as well as posture misalignment. About the Role:

As a massage therapist for Body in Gear, you will be helping to facilitate the healing process for every client/patient that is on your table. Whether they are brand new to you or our company and are figuring out where their pain is coming from, or they have returned to you 100 times, you are paramount to our mission of healing every person’s chronic pain. As a Body in Gear Therapist, you will report to the owner of the company, Zach Mayfield about any and all questions and/or concerns/comments. We understand that your role in this company is extremely important and that is why you will start out at $30 per hour hands on, with earnings beyond that rate for our other offerings!

Responsibilities:

As a Body in Gear therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Showing up to your shift/appointments on time and with tact.
• Providing pinpointed massage work that fulfills the patient's reason for visit.
• Following Body in Gear standards of practice and pitching of clients.
• Maintaining professional ethics.
• Filling out any and all appointment details and SOAP notes on every appointment (this goes for possible insurance claims too, if applicable).
• Fulfilling ideal of professional work attire.
• Making sure your therapy room is ready for use and is left the way you expect to find it.

Applicant requirement:

• An Illinois massage therapy license holder
• Hold an issued massage therapy liability insurance policy
• One year(s) experience as a licensed massage therapist is preferred
• Must have ability to easily establish rapport as well as personable
• Must maintain good standing with relevant key performance indicators
