Job Description: The Mobile Cone & Hawaiian Shave Ice Staff Member
Pay: Competitive wage + tips, with an additional $2.00/hour for corporate events
Location: Various local event locations (West Chester, OH + 50 mile radius)
Employment Type: Seasonal, Part-Time (April-October)
Schedule: Based on your availability and our weekly Event needs

About the Role:

This role is a great fit for anyone looking for extra work! Join our fun, fast-paced team serving up premium soft serve ice cream and refreshing Hawaiian shave ice at local events all season long! We’re looking for friendly, energetic individuals who love working with people and can keep up in a lively, on-the-go environment. The Mobile Cone participates in may weekend festivals and events. Ability to work some weekdays is also a plus (not required), as we have many corporate events!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging customer service with a positive attitude.
• Prepare and serve ice cream and Hawaiian shave ice quickly and consistently.
• Handle transactions and operate the cash register.
• Set up and tear down at event locations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following food safety guidelines.
• Work as a team to keep things running smoothly.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Outgoing personality with great customer service skills.
• Willingness to take initiative and follow directions.
• Availability to work from April through October, including July 4th weekend.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform light physical labor.

About Us:

Since 2005, The Mobile Cone & Hawaiian Five-OH Shave Ice units have been passionate about bringing joy to our community through delicious, high-quality treats and exceptional service. We specialize in serving the same award-winning soft serve products as The Cone in West Chester, OH, along with refreshing, all-naturally flavored Hawaiian shave ice (flavor made by us!) at local events—including fairs, car shows, school events, concerts, festivals, and corporate gatherings. Operating from April through October, with around 200 event days per season, we’re all about creating memorable experiences for our customers—one cone, shave ice, or frozen treat at a time.
