We are looking for a licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC, LMFT, LCSW) who shares our mission and values to join our team in a contractor role.

Position Overview: As a Mental Health Counselor, you will provide counseling services to individuals seeking support for mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients, utilizing evidence-based practices in a flexible, supportive, and client-centered environment. This is a contractor position, offering you the flexibility to create your own schedule while receiving the support of our practice infrastructure, including billing, advertising, and EHR system access.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, couples and family counseling to clients experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Offer supportive interventions in a safe and empathetic environment, fostering a non-judgmental space for healing.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions in our EHR system.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals as needed for client care.

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Licensed Mental Health Professional (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent), or an Associate License in the state of NC.
  • Experience working with a diverse population and a variety of mental health concerns.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to counseling.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
  • Familiarity with an EHR system is a plus, though training will be provided.
