Licensed Clinical Therapist (Contractor Position) – Sentient Path PLLC
Location: Flower Mound, TX (In-Person) | Telehealth Available for Texas Residents

Job Overview
Sentient Path PLLC is seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) to join our growing team in Flower Mound, Texas. This is a contractor (1099) position for therapists passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for adults, adolescents, and families, developing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual and/or family therapy using evidence-based modalities. Experience with play therapy, art therapy, DBT, and trauma-informed care is a plus.
• Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation using our electronic health record system.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting interventions as needed for the best client outcomes.
• Offer crisis intervention and referrals to higher levels of care when appropriate.
• Collaborate with community providers, psychiatrists, and social services as needed to provide holistic client care.
• Actively build and market your caseload through networking, referrals, and professional branding.
• LMSWs may accept Aetna insurance (fully licensed clinicians must confirm credentialing eligibility with major insurance providers).

Requirements:

• Must be fully licensed in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT. LMSW accepted but must have a board approved supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of different levels of care, inpatient resources, crisis intervention, and community mental health networks.
• Understanding of the business aspects of private practice, including the importance of branding and marketing.
• Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member.
• Must be willing to build and maintain a caseload—Sentient Path PLLC does not guarantee clients, but we provide support and resources to help therapists grow.

Caseload expectationss:

• Minimum of 5 clients per week within 6 weeks of onboarding to maintain contract.
• Minimum of 15 clients per week within 3 months to maintain the contract.

Opportunities of Contracting with Sentient Path PLLC:

• Credentialing assistance: Sentient Path PLLC covers the cost of credentialing for insurance panels (may take 3-6 months for fully licensed professionals).
• Access to premium practice management software (for scheduling, billing, phone service, email, and client records).
• Telehealth support, including technology assistance.
• Consultation groups, networking opportunities, and CEU support.
• Potential for growth within the practice as caseload builds and therapist commitment is demonstrated.

Additional Opportunities After 6 Months of Service:

• $150 annual CEU stipend for professional development.
