Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher for Direct Hire (@ Sidma MultiCultural Childcare Center) . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curriculum and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive social interactions among students.
  • Conduct assessments to monitor children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with other educators to create an integrated learning experience for students.
  • Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety, health, and well-being throughout the day.
  • Incorporate physical education activities into the curriculum to promote physical development.
  • Support children with special needs by adapting lessons and providing individualized attention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education is Required.
  • Proven experience in daycare or childcare settings is preferred.
  • Strong skills in classroom management and the ability to maintain a structured environment.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures is a plus.
  • Experience working with children in various capacities, including tutoring or special education.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in education.
  • Ability to create engaging educational activities that cater to different learning styles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred.
