We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Pet Bather to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being during the bathing process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the skills necessary to handle various breeds and temperaments with ease.

Duties

• Bathe and groom pets according to established standards and procedures.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions.
• Brush and comb fur to remove tangles, mats, and loose hair.
• Trim nails, clean ears, and express anal glands as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in the bathing area and grooming tools.
• Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues during grooming.
• Communicate with pet owners upon drop off regarding their pet's needs and any observations made during grooming sessions.
• Assist in managing the flow of pets in the grooming area to ensure efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pet grooming or related fields such as animal handling, or pet care is preferred.
• Knowledge of various dog breeds and their specific grooming needs is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and team members.
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately, ensuring a positive experience for both pets and owners.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends (Saturdays).
