LANDSCAPER POSITION
POSITION SUMMARY
A landscaper maintains grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. A landscaper typically performs a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, irrigation repairs and gutter cleaning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Care for established lawns by weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems.
• Gather and remove litter from landscape.
• Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges.
• Water lawns, trees, or plants.
• Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be able to do landscaping maintenance at the highest level.
• Must be able to work with all power tool and hand tools.
• Must be able to use a mower, string trimmer, hedger etc.
• Ability to work well with a team or alone. Must be physically able to lift 50lbs or more. Able to continuously bend, lift, squat and be on your feet for 8 hours.
• Must have reliable transportation.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• 1 year experience.
• Experience with irrigation and installation helpful.
• Experience with tree trimming helpful.
EQUIPMENT, MACHINES, VEHICLE
• Landscaping tools.
• Power tools and hand tool.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Outdoor environments – exposure to hot and cold temperatures and different weather conditions.

Full time/Part time
