We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Store Clerk to join our team! As a store clerk, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our liquor store. You will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting products, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist with product selection, offering recommendations when needed.
• Verify customers’ ages to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
• Process transactions accurately using a point-of-sale system (POS).
• Stock shelves, organize displays, cleaning, handling deliveries and working with management to keep the store running smoothly. 
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment by following cleaning and safety protocols.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and returns in a professional manner.
• Follow store procedures for opening and closing the store, including cash handling.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to engage with a diverse customer base.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with cash register operations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Prior retail or liquor store experience is a plus, but not required.
