Our massage therapist is often an integral part of one’s health journey at ChiroVirginia. It is preferable that our therapist have a background or familiarity with the more active client and their unique needs (ex. muscle recovery, muscle strains, range of motion issues, muscle imbalances).

Aside from performing quality, therapeutic bodywork, we are looking for a therapist who wants to actively get involved in promoting massage therapy within our facility and the local community. We work as a team to grow practitioner/therapist clientele and overall participation at our facility. The therapist we hire for this position must be confident in not only their skills, but also promoting them. We need a team member who wants to help us build the massage business as much as we need the hands-on massage therapy skills.

Qualified Candidates:

Active Virginia Massage License required
Have a passion for helping others feel their best
Are excited to join a team and bring their unique abilities to the facility
Are eager for growth and desire to build on their modality mastery
Experience and Requirements:

Must be authorized to work in the United States
Able to conduct physical assessments and assess clients' medical history
Able to collaborate effectively and efficiently with other healthcare practitioners
Knowledge of Swedish and targeted Deep Tissue Massage is a must; knowledge of specialized modalities is a plus!
Empathetic, active listening skills.
Must be able to stand up to 6 hours.
