Job description

Associates in Counseling and Child Guidance has immediate openings for a full time Behavior Intervention Specialist I for our school based program (SMART). This position is full time, with 10 weeks paid vacation. It is stationary in 1 of 3 elementary schools in Meadville, Pa. Our BIS I staff work on a team providing mental health groups and interventions to students in our school based programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily therapeutic groups
• Implement Individualized Treatment Plans
• Deliver and model treatment interventions
• Provide positive reinforcement to the clients and their families
• Utilize professional boundaries with all clients and families

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma. One years of experience working with children is required.

Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal Background and FBI Clearances must be obtained.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $26,000.00 per year
