Part-Time Clinic-based Behavior Technician
Hours:
- 8+ hours per week (flexible - you set your hours)
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30-4:30.
Responsibilities:
- Flexible hours. You decide when you’re available and how many hours you want to target. We will do our best to accommodate your needs but don’t provide benefits.
- Ideal for continuing studies, prioritizing family/personal time and combining with other part-time jobs.
- We support RBTs working towards a BCBA certification with supervision and credit hours. We apply to achieve in-network status for BCBAs at the 3 major Medicaid insurance companies.
- Accessible Hope’s Therapy Center is a small, local center that primarily serves children in the Antioch community of Nashville. Our client population is diverse, including families from Mexico, Central America, Asia, and Africa. We are Christian-owned, but our clients come from a variety of religious and secular backgrounds. Our team of 5 people is collegial, easy-going, and creative.
- Work directly with children with Autism in a clinical setting at our therapy center in Antioch.
- Teach and help children who have frequent and severe challenging behaviors that include aggression toward caregivers and other adults and serious self-injury.
- Work closely with a clinical team of RBTs and BCBAs in a classroom environment, with a willingness to grow continually with frequent support and supervision.
- Teach skills in a variety of domains, including verbal language, social skills, school-readiness skills, life skills, academics, creativity and play.
- Implement specific, data-driven programs as developed by the BCBA and as directed by the supervising clinical team.
- Follow a center-based schedule with routines and structure as determined by the clinical director and other leadership.
- Collect precise data throughout services to track program and behavior targets.
- Accurately document services.
- Participate in frequent on-site, face-to-face supervision, feedback, and collaboration with senior RBTs and BCBAs.
- Cultivate collegial, professional relationships with other team members.
- Reflect professionalism, diligence, and caring in parent interactions.
- Foster nurturing, consistent teacher-student relationships with the children who come to the center.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Active Registered Behavior Technician certification or willingness and ability to complete 40-hour online training, competency assessment with supervisor, and sit for a proctored examination.
- Experience with young children and adolescents with Autism and severe challenging behaviors including aggression and self-injury.
Preferred:
- Classroom experience with children with Autism.
Compensation
- Compensation ranges from $19-26 per hour and is determined by experience and competence. Flexible hours provided student needs are met. Benefits will not be included.

We provide a range of services including ABA therapy, behavioral and educational consulting, parent training, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. We serve children at our clinical location at the Accessible Hope Therapy Center in Antioch, and we serve schools, families, and organizations both domestically and internationally through school-based consulting arrangements, organizational partnerships, and home-based therapy services.
