We are seeking a Line Cook applicants for our family-owned seafood restaurant located on the water in Morro Bay, CA.

Dutchman's Seafood House is a family-owned restaurant featuring fresh seafood for the last 38 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients, cook and assemble dishes as indicated by recipes.
  • Perform portion control and minimize waste.
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely matter by restocking ingredients at work station and meeting prep times to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Set up and clean station according to restaurant protocol.
  • Maintain a clean work station area, including kitchen equipment, tables and shelves.
  • Comply with applicable sanitary, health and personal hygiene standards.
  • Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products.
  • Use a deep fryer
  • Operate a variety of machines and utensils
  • Se habla Espanol

Qualifications:

  • Must know and read some English
  • Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds
  • Enjoys working as a team with the BOH and FOH
  • Open to change and learning new methods
  • Appreciates hospitality and food

$19/hr plus tips
