Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Greet and welcome patients warmly into our office, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience.
  • Operational Support: Prepare examination rooms, sterilize dental equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Administrative Duties: Assist in preparing, updating, and documenting patient charts and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Treatment Support: Transcribe patient treatment plans into patient charts and provide chairside assistance to the Dentist during procedures.
  • Education: Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene practices to promote long-term dental health.
  • Logistics Management: Keep track of lab cases such as crowns and dentures, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of one year working in a dental office environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with dental software, preferably Dentrix Ascend, and experience with paperless charting.
  • Communication Skills: Strong customer service and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations and resolve issues effectively.
  • Professionalism: Demonstrate excellent work ethic, including punctuality, reliability, and professionalism at all times.
  • Licensure: Current RDA licensure with updated x-rays, CPR certification, and pits & fissure certification.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work some Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
  • Bilingualism: Fluency in a second language is a plus!
