Do you have a unique combination of skills and vision that would move health equity for our city's most marginalized? Common Pantry is seeking a full-time Food Programs Manager. This role leads the supervision, supply and operations of Common Pantry’s food programs, including grocery distribution, hot lunch, Produce Day, and the organization’s new nutrition program. This position is overseen and directly supervised by the Executive Director.

Candidate Profile:

• Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with current licensure in the state of Illinois
• Proof of certification and licensure must be provided upon hiring and maintained throughout employment
• An understanding of, and belief in, the importance of food security for everyone
• Strong preference given to Spanish speaking candidate
• Experience working in an operations or logistics role, food and/or customer service preferred 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and eager to work directly with the public
• Basic computer skills required and comfortable learning digital platforms and data entry with training
• Capacity to work independently, with a team, and open to contributing ideas to improve the organization
• A current Food Service Manager Certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
