Tax Classes are starting soon at our Hatboro location! Our 8-week course will cover dependents, child tax credits, earned income, small business and much more! We have a knowledgeable instructor who will make it fun to learn about the world of taxes!

Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Tax School as Tax School Students. This role is ideal for those looking to gain practical experience in tax preparation and financial services. Students will learn essential skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in tax preparation while working under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Duties

• Attend scheduled classes and training sessions to learn about tax laws, regulations, and preparation techniques.
• Assist in the preparation of individual and business tax returns under supervision.
• Participate in hands-on learning experiences, including case studies and simulations.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may affect clients.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns during the learning process.
• Pass the federal tax exam as well as six additional required courses and be hired to work for the 2025 tax season at Liberty Tax!

Qualifications

• Strong interest in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is preferred but not required.
• Previous coursework or experience in accounting or finance is a plus but not mandatory.
