Compensation: $16-18/hr

Position Overview 

Technicians/Cleaners must have at least 6 months of experience in one of the following industries:  mitigation cleaning or industrial cleaning. This position will service customers dealing with water, fire, or mold damage. Prepare and review documentation to include notes, photos, and documents according to company policies and procedures. 

 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Performs water, fire, and mold content or structural cleaning to include pack-out of contents, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, general cleaning, and inventory of contents as directed by supervisor. 
  • Assists Lead Technicians load equipment and supplies on trucks as needed for the job. 
  • Explains processes used to complete active jobs and the next steps to resolution in person to customers using printed materials as a guide with or without a supervisor. 
  • Completes assigned jobs according to company processes while maintaining quality control on each job. 
  • Ensures equipment, supplies, vehicles, and products are properly handled. Reports any equipment malfunction and or damage to Lead Technician or Crew Leader. 
  • Communicates customer issues, and daily job activities with supervisor and key company staff. 
  • Prepares documentation and pictures according to company policies and procedures with guidance from Lead Technician. 

 

Job Requirements  

  • High school graduate or equivalent 
  • Experience in emergency response, general construction, or industrial cleaning.
  • Valid Drivers’ License and satisfactory driving record 
  • Must be able to work on-call as needed - rotating weekends.
  • Detail-oriented, hardworking, and motivated 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Good customer service skills 
  • Experience with using mobile software to enter data. 
  • Can read and follow product label usage instructions. 
  • Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform 
  • Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines.

Incumbent must be prepared to: 

  • Move up to 50 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects. 
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling, and crouching are required.    
  • For safety reasons, respirators, which are used in certain situations, must be able to seal the face. 
  • Use visual acuity to perform detail-oriented activities. 
  • Be exposed to various inside and outside working conditions: such as the change of environment with or without air conditioning and heating.
