Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Construction Administrator to join our team. The Construction Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting construction projects by overseeing administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining efficient communication among various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain project files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with vendors, clients, and internal team members.
- Assist in vendor management by coordinating orders, deliveries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses, preparing reports, and assisting in cost analysis.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project timelines are met.
- Assist in office management duties such as organizing schedules, coordinating meetings, and maintaining office supplies.
- Utilize QuickBooks or similar software for financial record-keeping and invoicing purposes.
- Perform clerical tasks including data entry, filing, and organizing project documentation.
- Support human resources functions such as onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records, and assisting in training development programs.
Experience:
- Proven experience in construction administration or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to self-manage and prioritize workload effectively.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to work independently when necessary.
The ideal candidate for this role will be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess a strong understanding of construction processes. Competitive compensation package offered based on experience. Previous experience with training development is a plus but not required.
