Fire Protection Drafter

3S Incorporated is seeking an experienced AutoCAD & Revit drafter. Fire protection experience is not required. This is an opportunity to enter the rewarding field of life safety systems.  This is a full-time position on the S-JV battery plant job site.  3S has a furnished office trailer from which you will work alongside other designers and project managers.  As an active construction site, strict health and safety rules must be followed.  

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Design life safety and asset protection systems using AutoCAD, Revit and proprietary software applications
• Update existing drawings
• Create project-specific operation and maintenance manuals
• Assist office staff with engineering-related tasks
• Attend manufacturer training classes
• Travel within the US may be required

Important Skills

• Proficient knowledge of CAD systems (Autocad & Revit)
• Understanding of MS Office applications
• Good organizational skills
• Able to communicate technical information
• Desire to learn industry standards
• Willingness to study for and obtain NICET certification
