Hartswick Counseling is a private outpatient mental health practice and is hiring a full or part-time LAPC or LPC to provide outpatient psychotherapy services in the state of Pennsylvania. Work can be in-person, remote or hybrid. At Hartswick Counseling, we are committed to assisting our clients work through a variety of mental health struggles and concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma resolution, couples and family conflict, and other concerns negatively impacting daily life.  

This is an Independent Contractor position, $50 - $70/hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial intake assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning
• Utilize evidence-based treatment strategies and techniques during weekly psychotherapy sessions
• Maintain documentation including session notes, updated treatment plans and diagnosis, relevant consent and practice policies
• Establish and maintain weekly availability and scheduling of clients
• Meet with Clinical Supervisor on a weekly basis for collaboration and supervision

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field from an accredited college or university
• Minimum LAPC in the state of Pennsylvania
• Effective time-management, written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated clinical experience and skill in outpatient psychotherapy
• Ability to work independently
