Coulee Christian School in West Salem, WI is hiring a Part Time School Bus Driver for the 2024-2025 School year. This position begins on August 21, 2024. The driver will drive a route from Coulee Christian School - Onalaska Campus to Coulee Christian School - West Salem Campuses twice daily to transport students to and from the West Salem Campuses. (It would require about 1 hour in the AM and 1 hour in the PM.) A CDL is required for driving the mini-bus but is not required for the school van. The school is willing to pay for CDL training & certification for the right applicant.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, must enjoy working with children, agree with the school's Statement of Faith as outlined on the school's website, pass a background check and be appropriately licensed.

Rate of pay is based upon prior experience and level of driving certificate.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct safety checks of school vehicle daily
• Transport students between campuses daily
• Communicate student concerns to appropriate building principal
• Ensure vehicles are given regularly-scheduled maintenance and safety checks
• Maintain cleanliness of school vehicles--interior & exterior
• Communicate vehicle maintenance needs to Facilities Manager
• Maintain appropriate licensing and certification as a school vehicle driver
