The behavior technician works hands-on with young children to implement treatment programs designed by the BCBA, or 1:1 with individuals and their families or in small groups to systematically assist clients in mastering their program goals. Ensuring a high quality of service requires frequent and ongoing supervision and training for the behavior technician which allows technicians and BCBAs to work and grow together in support of their clients.

• As a technician, you will make an impact by delivering 1:1 behavior therapy to individuals with special needs in their natural setting, such as in their home, school (special education or regular education), or community.
• Ensuring a high quality of service requires frequent and ongoing supervision and training for the behavior technician, which allows technicians and BCBAs to work and grow together in support of their clients
• Collects data on all programming and writes progress notes.
• Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient related information
• Immediately reports to BCBA/ Therapy Supervisor any patient incidents/variances or complaints
• Provide individualized treatment to consumers with autism as defined within treatment and behavior plans.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Passion for working with children with special needs
