We are looking for a long-term caregiver to assist a client through her journey with ALS.

The client currently needs minimal assistance but that will change over time. We want to hire a kind, compassionate companion and skilled caregiver who can assist our client with ADLs of varying complexity.

Current Weekly Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3 hours a day. The client is flexible on specific hours, but has indicated that she would prefer visits start between 7:30 and 9:00am.

Skills

• Proven experience as a caregiver
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
• Physical endurance
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on experience and credentials)

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week

Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the US
• Valid Driver's License or State ID
• CPR Certificate within 14 days of hire
• Food Handler permit within 14 days of hire
• Covid vaccine record or valid exemption
• CNA/HCA preferred but not required
