We are seeking a Part time Kennel Assistant/Bather to join our team for 2026 summer vacation season with opportunity to continue in the fall.   You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals and property at our facility.  Shifts will rotate between days, evenings and weekends. 

Mature candidate must be able to operate computer/cash register and possess phone skills. Hourly salary increases commensurate with performance.

Responsibilities:

• Handle general care tasks such as feeding and bathing of the animals
• Assist in restraining animals for brushing/nail clipping
• Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
• Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment/facility grounds
• Take reservations for boarding and maintain file records/phone skills
• Check in and Discharge appointments
• Learn operation of the cash register

Qualifications:

• Previous experience desired, but will train the right individual- in animal care or other related fields
• Passion to help and treat animals
• Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

** Must be available for our summer schedule and holidays - please do not apply if you cannot be available May - September**

** Retail sales and computer/QuickBooks a plus**
