Job description

Certified Medical Assistant to work in Addiction Recovery clinic, full-time work. A two-physician, one nurse practitioner, 5 therapist office, Sovegna, in Salt Lake City, just east of downtown.  Will primary be involved in the medication assisted treatment program.  We provide full spectrum of treatment for patients with substance use disorder as well as process addictions.  We are looking for team players who will thrive in a culture of mutual support and continuous quality improvement.

Hours
    32  - 40 hours.

Wage:
      $19-22/hr depending on experience
      Initially no benefits provided, after 90 days.

Primary Responsibilities:
      - Obtain vitals and room patients
      - Obtain blood and urine specimens for lab (blood draws in office).

-Medication reconciliation

- Perform IM injections
      - Assist with prior authorizations and calling in prescription refills.
      - Follow up with messages from patients and provide a communication link
between the patient and physicians.
      - Maintain and monitor supply in lab.
      - Conduct herself/himself in a professional and courteous manner with all
contacts.
      - Explain and document all encounters with patients in the EMR.
- Hard working, self motivated team players preferred.

Qualifications:
      - High school plus MA coursework and certification
      - First Aid
      - BLS

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
