JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Full-time Worship + Productions Director, Living Hope Bible Church

REPORTS TO:  Lead Pastor

STATUS:  Staff, Salary (+ or - $50k)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Passionate, growing follower of Jesus
• Member of Living Hope Bible Church

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the lead pastor to plan and execute worship services and worship engagements at Living Hope Bible Church
• Execute weekend worship service and other worship engagements
  • Implement and oversee all Audio/Visual systems
  • Uphold the guidelines and standards for the production of services
  • Evaluate and ensure the quality of technical systems and schedule repairs/adjustments
  • Manage and produce all post service audio and video
• Support the worship and production teams
  • Recruit, train, develop, and care for team members
  • Schedule teams for Sunday worship services and other events where worship is present
  • Communicate regularly with the team, including weekly service flow communication and post-weekend debrief communication
  • Work with lead pastor in managing the ministry year worship calendar
• Lead beyond the worship ministry as a part of the staff team
  • Carry leadership responsibilities and participate in discipleship efforts beyond the worship team as directed by the Lead Pastor

SUMMARY

The worship director at Living Hope Bible Church not only leads the congregation in gospel-centered, Spirit-led worship, this leader also influences the church to grow as worshippers. This person will lead the team and coordinate the production resources necessary to execute a creative, distraction-free, God-glorifying service. To be successful in this role, a person is committed to their personal discipleship in order to genuinely invite others to join them in true worship as well as possess the musicality and production expertise to execute high-impact worship services.

Living Hope Bible Church is a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church in south Austin. We began in September of 2022. God is growing us, both spiritually and numerically. We currently have three weekly Small Groups. We are committed to training leaders, multiplying Small Groups, and planting other churches. We are searching for a permanent facility that meets the needs of our church family and encourages further growth. Our outstanding worship team is committed to passionate worship.
