At Off Track Ice Cream, we create Traditional and Vegan Ice Cream in Classic and Inventive Flavors. We make our ice cream completely from scratch using only clean and locally sourced ingredients. We opened our first scoop shop at 6 Beaufain Street in Summer 2019. We are looking for passionate and hard-working individuals to join our tight-knit team in serving our customers the best ice cream around!

Qualifications & Qualities:

• Must be available weekends, evenings, holidays and summers
• Can stand on your feet for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
• A leader able to positively influence your team helping them uphold the highest standards
• Respect food safety and personal hygiene standards
• An upbeat, positive & energetic spirit 
• Attention to detail & an eye for cleanliness
• Ability to take feedback and constantly be looking for ways to improve and grow

• Can provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, high volume environment

Responsibilities:

• Efficient operation of our ice cream shop: always serving our customers to the highest standards. Being efficient and on-task while producing consistent ice cream scoops, cones, and sundaes.
• Full knowledge of all of our food & beverage offerings: You clearly and concisely describe every ice cream flavor in depth, have knowledge of our full menu, and share all local farms and purveyors where our ingredients are sourced from to our guests.
• Professional and concise communication skills: communicate clearly in a confident, positive manner to customers, fellow team members, and supervisors.
• Perform physically demanding tasks: including standing on your feet for long periods of time, lifting and carrying heavy items, scooping ice cream, making waffle cones, washing dishes, and cleaning.
• Always being productive during your shift: when not assisting customers, you are: restocking, cleaning, and performing side-tasks. You are productive throughout your entire shift.
• Be a team player: have the willingness to be flexible to assist the team in ways that are above and beyond
• Consistently Hospitable, and Personable with our guests: making sure each guest has an excellent experience all around from the moment they walk in our door to the moment they leave us.
