Here at NuWave Composites we are looking to expand our engineering team with the position of CAD Designer. This is an amazing opportunity for candidates with 2-5+ years of experience in CAD design or a related field to join a respected and successful company in the Composite Tooling manufacturing industry which is very broad.

Responsibilities:

- Create detailed 2D and 3D models and drawings using CAD software (Rhino 3D, Siemens NX preferred)

- Collaborate with operations teams to develop customer concepts and prototypes

- Generate accurate technical specifications and documentation

- Translate design ideas and concepts into functional and manufacturable products

- Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards

Essential Job Functions:

- Utilize CAD software to design and develop models and drawings

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and incorporate feedback into designs

- Prepare and modify designs according to client specifications and requirements

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines

- Maintain organized files and documentation for future reference

Skills:

- Proficiency in CAD software, such Rhino 3D and Siemens NX

- Strong technical and mathematical aptitude

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Effective communication and collaboration skills

- Creative problem-solving abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
