Job Overview:
Code4Bots is looking for enthusiastic, flexible, and highly motivated individuals who love working with middle school aged students. As Summer Robotics Coach, you will be responsible for organizing and managing a small group of students. You will deliver a dynamic and fun program utilizing the Code4Bots curriculum and educational materials such as workbooks, tablets, robotics kits and programming environment to deliver classes.

Director of Training and Development/Office Manager.

Seasonal (until August 16, 2024 avg. 30 hours per week)

Compensation:
$15 to $25 per hour + paid training
Schedule:
Monday-Friday (8:45 am – 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm)
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
· Strong desire to teach STEM based programs;
· Previous experience in programming and robotics desired (not required);
· Ability to manage a small group of students;
· Ability to work 30 hours up to 35 hours/week. Monday-Friday only.
· Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment following the provided curriculum;
· Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures while ensuring the safety of the students during the class;
· Engages students in learning, and motivates them to work in teams;
· Adequately prepares for each program by reading curriculum, watching training videos and/or participating in face-to-face training sessions.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Must be 18 by program start date
· High School Diploma / GED (Technical Career preferred);
· Pass a background check/fingerprinting;
· Reliable transportation;
· Prior experience working with children is preferred;
· Knowledge in programming languages, robotics, and animation is helpful;
· Arduino knowledge;
· Able to lift and transport up to 40 lbs.;
· Ability to communicate effectively;
· Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.
