DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Uses tools and machinery to fabricate metal parts.
• Reads blueprints and uses calipers to ensure quality product.
• Inspects his/her own work for conformance to the customer drawing requirements applicable to that operation.

BASIS FOR EVALUATION

• Reports to work in a prompt manner with minimal missed time.
• Performs his/her duties in a professional, courteous manner with minimal to no rework.
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures related to his/her job.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• High school certificate required. Two-years of experience in a sheet metal or machine shop required.
• Ability to read measurement equipment (calipers, gauges, and tape measures) desired.
• Ability to speak and receive direction in the English language.
• Physical ability to perform various shop related activities, including prolonged periods standing and ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Cheerful, helpful disposition when dealing with fellow employees.

Hours of Operation: Mon-Thurs 6:00am-4:30pm; overtime available

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
