Job description:

The market vendor assistant will help with all aspects of our farmer’s market operations from set up to take down. You will help educate customers about kombucha and how our fermenting techniques make our product some of the best in the industry! We attend 2-3 markets and events a week, sometimes more in the peak summer months. This is a really fun job for someone with fantastic customer service skills, positive attitude, and interest in kombucha.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Selling kombucha, handing out samples
• Kombucha education & small talk with customers
• Representing our brand to customers and other vendors
• Unloading trailer and set-up/take-down market stall alongside other staff
• Using our POS system, handling cash/making change
• Comfort handling kegs and moving up to 60 lbs.

Key skills and requirements:

• Positive attitude, outgoing personality and strong work ethic
• Great organizational skills and standard of cleanliness
• Reliable transportation to/from your market 
• Be prepared to start work early on weekends
• Able up to move/lift up to 60#(kegs)and comfortable standing for up to 6 hrs.
• Interest and/or experience in kombucha/fermenting is a plus

More about the Position:

• 5-12 hours a week Sat/Sun.
