Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) will concentrate on outbound sales prospecting, focusing on past customers rather than cold leads. Their primary responsibilities include qualifying these past customers and facilitating their progression through the sales pipeline until they are prepared to interact with Account Executives. SDRs will invest considerable effort in comprehending sales processes and initiating contact with potential clients early in the sales funnel. 

 

This person should possess a strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization (SDRs have a clear path to becoming an Account Executive).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize company CRM (NetSuite), calls, and emails to generate new sales opportunities with a subset of past customers we consider Tier 6 (meaning they have not ordered in the last 12 months)
  • Set up appointment calls between a qualified customer and our Account Executives
  • Prepare customers for engagement with an Account Executive and/or evaluate authentic interest in making a purchase.
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented and transparent in communication
  • Should have well-established typing skills and an understanding of MS Office
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales quotas (preferred but not required)
