Overview:
We are looking for Adventure Counselors for our new youth program called Cascade Adventure Mountain Programs (C.A.M.P.). While our program is new, our founder, Drew, has over 25 years of experience in the outdoor field, and has successfully started and run programs in wilderness therapy for many years. We are looking for experienced, fun, outdoorsy, and outgoing people to lead groups of kids, ages 10-15, on adventures while also supporting their emotional and social growth (in a non-clinical setting).

Job includes:
-Fostering an environment that is accessible, safe (physically and emotionally), educational, inclusive, and fun for participants, parents and fellow staff.

-Getting campers in the program van and keeping kids engaged during drive to and from drop off/ pick up site; for some qualified applicants this may include driving the van.

-Leading groups of children on adventures like hiking, biking, paddle boarding, and caving and teaching them how to do so safely.

-Leading activities that support CAMP's Outdoors With Intent philosophy; promoting teamwork, self awareness, and personal growth.

- Enjoying the outdoors and being comfortable around water.

Requirements:
-Minimum age 18; 21+ prefered

-Experience with kids

-First Aid Certified (required, but we may be willing to provide training)

-CPR Certified (required, but we may be willing to provide training)

-Lifeguard Certified (preferred)

-Wilderness First Responder (preferred)

Pay for the most qualified individuals is up to $20 per hour.

Part-time, 24 to 40 hours per week.
