Join our team as a Gymnastics Coach and inspire athletes to reach their full potential. We are seeking a motivated individual with a passion for gymnastics and coaching to join our dynamic team.

As a developmental coach, you will be working with young athletes to help them learn, grow, and establish the basics and fundamentals of gymnastics. We are looking for an individual who is a positive leader, can maintain a high standard of excellence, and have patience and grace to help our athletes learn great gymnastics in a positive, fun environment. We are looking for an experienced coach, but we will also provide training to familiarize you with our process and core values. Working together with the developmental team to maintain consistent standards across the program is essential. We are offering a part-time position, up to around 20 hours of coaching per week, Mon-Sat, plus once a month developmental meetings. Must be able to work weekday evenings (classes start around 3:30pm), and Saturday mornings (classes start at 9:00am). We also have the option of filling out full-time hours in our recreational, events, or ninja programs.

Essential Qualities and Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 1 year gymnastics coaching experience. Coaching experience in developmental and/or competitive strongly preferred, but not required if willing to learn
  • Able to effectively manage classes of 4-7 year old athletes
  • Be detail-oriented and maintain a high standard of excellence
  • Work together as a team with other developmental coaches within the program
  • Willing to learn and teach new coaching and training techniques
  • Follow a class framework and specific skill progressions
  • Bring and maintain a good and positive energy
  • Be committed, reliable, and consistent
  • USAG and Safesport trained and certified (or able to obtain them upon starting)

Responsibilities:

- Educate and train athletes in gymnastics techniques and routines
- Provide guidance and support to athletes during practice sessions and competitions
- Monitor athlete progress and provide feedback for improvement
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during training sessions

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
